Changing the Client Computer Type
If you are running Avid Composer Products software on an IBM
®
IntelliStation
®
M Pro with the Windows 2000 operating system in a
LANshare workgroup, you need to change the computer type to avoid an
IRQ conflict. If your workstation uses an ACPI Uniprocessor PC, you need
to change it with an MPS Uniprocessor PC.
To change the computer type:
1. Right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, and select Manage.
The Computer Management window opens.
2. Click Device Manager in the left pane of the window. A list of devices
appears in the right pane of the window.
3. Double-click Computer in the right pane of the window.
